Chrysler Museum of Art

Experiencial/Wayfinding Design

Project Description

The Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virgina is highly regarded for
its glass artwork. By embracing the material along with the depth
and shape, the wayfinding is able connect visitors to the artwork
inside and the costal city of Norfolk.

The idea of layering glass with painted metal is based on the the ocean,
as well as how the museum is much more than just a glass museum. I worked
within the museum’s current branding by using their colors and shapes as well
as switching to their orange for their studio’s signage.
