Project Description
This project aimed to create a movie poster featuring 17 pages
of screenplay and numerous frames from the movie. The poster was
created in nine segments, each with its own composition. All of the
assets in red were hand-painted by me, then scanned and placed into
the poster. The poster went through multiple iterations with completely
different tones and title treatments.
I ended up playing heavily into the Joker aspect of the movie, with minor
hints towards Harvey Two-Face by giving all of the images burnt edges.
The main idea of the poster was to have a solid, structured font
representing the law and order, layered with sloppy handwriting and
splattered paint representing the chaos brought by the Joker.
